Water, water, everywhere! And your ants are trapped on islands, just eyeing those scrumptious munchies on the shore. Can you hear their little stomachs growling? And of course, you're not the only one with this problem: your opponents are trapped on islands, too.
Time is ticking away. You have only 12 minutes to get off the island, munch on as much food as possible, and bring it back to the antpile. The player who collects the most food before time's up wins the game. Can you do it? Will our brave little ant heroes survive the deep blue waters?
Well, if you're looking for a boat or a life preserver to take you to shore, we can't help you. But we've got something even better than that: awesome game tips! Read this and get ready to grab those snackies!
Tips for Getting Off the Island:
When the game first starts, there are eight ants on three islands: six on one island and each of the others on a separate island.
- On each island where the ants are trapped, there's a bomb Power Up. Have an ant on each island get the Power Up to become a BombAnt.
- Move your BombAnt to the area on its island that's closest to the next island where a trapped ant is located.
- Have your BombAnt place a bomb at the edge of the island (not on the bubbly mud).
- Move one of your regular, worker ants towards the bomb. Have your ant facing the bomb with its back to the water (so it is directly facing the bomb). Click the worker ant and then click the bomb to move the ant directly towards it.
- Kaboom! The bomb will explode your ant over to the next island.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 until your worker ant is on the shore.
It's Important to Remember:
- Always move the ant directly towards the bomb, with its back facing the water. If you move the ant towards the bomb any other way, the ant can get blown up into the air, thrown into the water, or pushed towards the center of the island.
- Also, if at first you don't succeed: try, try again. An ant can use a bomb four times in a row without dying. And if you're on the island with the AntHill, you can send your ant back home to regain its health for even more attempts.
