Choose one of three mythologies and a major god at the start, then advance through four ages by favoring your economy, army, and god powers to crush enemies with mortal soldiers and myth units.
Getting Started
Every civilization gathers Food, Wood, and Gold, but the fourth resource, Favor, is earned differently by each culture: Greeks pray at Temples, Egyptians build Monuments, and Norse gain it by fighting. Spend Favor on powerful myth units and god technologies.
Advancing to the next Age requires a specific amount of resources and choosing a Minor God, which unlocks that god's unique myth unit, god power, and technologies, so pick the Minor God whose bonuses fit your plan.
Winning Strategies
Use the rock-paper-scissors counters: infantry beat cavalry, cavalry beat archers, and archers beat infantry, while myth units are strong against all mortals but are countered by Heroes, so always keep a few Heroes to hunt enemy myth units.
Your major god's one-time god power, like Zeus's Bolt, Isis's Prosperity, or Odin's Great Hunt, can swing a battle or your economy, so save each power for a decisive moment rather than firing it early.
