Make a lifelong friend and learn the ropes first hand through the all-new protgprogram. The first few times you enter the game, a mentor will personally greet you with a message offering a "bond of friendship." Type ACCEPT to enter into a period of personal training which lasts for 2 weeks or up to the 4th level. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to learn essential skills & tricks from an Elanthian veteran before venturing out into the lands on your own.
Always keep an eye out for mentors when starting out. Aside from the protgprogram, they are constantly hosting special events and Q&A sessions to help new players. Whenever you see the message:
[Mentor's Name] is now available to answer new adventurers' questions
Type AGREE and you will be transported to the Mentor.
