Games (G)
|
|
The number of games the player has played.
|
|
|
At Bat (AB)
|
|
Lists the number of times the player has gone to bat. This does not count the times where the player has been walked, or made a sacrifice.

Runs (R)
|
|
The number of times the player runs across home plate.
|
|
|
Hits or Hits Against (H)
|
|
For pitchers, it's the number of hits given up. For batters, it's the number of successful hits.

Home Runs (HR)
|
|
The number of times the player has hit a home run.
|
|
|
Runs Batted In (RBI)
|
|
This is the number of runners a batter moves across home plate by either a walk, hit or sacrifice.

Base on Balls (BB)
|
|
When a player gets walked to first base because of four balls pitched outside the strike zone.
|
|
|
Strike Out (SO)
|
|
It's the number of times the player at bat swings and misses resulting in three strikes.
|

Stolen Bases (SB)
|
|
When a player has successfully moved to the next base without the help from the player at bat.
|
|
|
Caught Stealing (CS)
|
|
When a runner attempts to steal a base but is tagged out.

On Base Percentage (OBP)
|
|
This is the number of times the player has successfully made it to base compared to the number of plate appearances. The percentage is calculated by (Hits + Walks + Times Hit by Pitch) / (At Bats + Walks + Times Hit by Pitch + Sacrifice Flys)

Slugging Percentage (SLG)
|
|
Slugging percentage is the total number of bases successfully reached by a batter divided by at bats.
|
|
|
Batting Average (AVG)
|
|
The average is calculated by the total number of base hits divided by the total number of at bats.
|
