Time is ticking and you've got to conquer that maze as quickly as possible. What to do? Here are some quick tips!
- At the start of the game, run from the edges of the maze and work your way towards the center. This helps you maximize the territory you capture.
- Use the jump key, left CTRL, if you see some Slippy Oil or Gooey Glue on the ground.
- Strategically place bombs from the Tile Bomb Backpack in bottleneck areas.
- If you see the Buddy Helmet power-up available in the maze, get to it immediately! Don't let your opponent get it. The Buddy Helmet helps you get twice as many squares!
- Build walls around the majority of the area you've taken over using the Build Wall Helmet. It's a great way to keep your opponent from stealing your territories.
- When you get the Super Speed power-up, try following your opponent around the maze. That way, every time your opponent takes some territory, you can immediately change it to yours.
- Use the camera controls -- C, Z, and X -- to get a closer view of the puzzles (especially the power-ups and gadgets) or find the quickest path away from your opponent.
