What's the difference between Practice and Tournament races?
When playing RC Riot, you can choose to play either Practice or a Tournament race. In a Practice race you race against the computer cars. Finishing first will unlock more cars and tracks to use in future racing! Tournament is where you race competitively for prizes! To race in a tournament, you will need a Zone name and password. At the end of the round if you're happy with your score, enter your Zone name and password, and click Submit. This ranks and posts your score with the other racers and it also enters you into the RC Riot tournament. How do I play in the RC Riot Tournament? Here are the steps:
All six tournaments have designated tracks and vehicles. So selecting a vehicle for an upcoming tournament is not an option. Here are the six tournaments and the scheduled track and vehicle that you will be racing on.
In RC Riot, there are a total of 5 tracks and 12 vehicles. Each track comes with new vehicles for you to race. For example, all first time players will be racing on Track 1: Backyard Trouble which comes with three vehicles: Turmoil, Samson, and BuzzSaw. To unlock the next track, Track 2, which comes with another set of new vehicles, you'll need to successfully race and win against the other computer cars. Each time you race and win, you'll unlock another track. Here's a list of all the tracks and the vehicles available.
At the end of the tournament round, if you're happy with your score, enter your Zone name and password, and click Submit. This ranks and posts your score with the other racers and it also enters you into the RC Riot tournament. I've just submitted my score and don't see my name or score posted on the Ratings page. Why? When you submit your score, it's not immediately posted on the RC Riot ratings page. This page is updated daily and it takes time for your rating to be posted, so check back frequently. How many times can I play Tournament races? You can race as many times as you want and we will record your overall best score. Remember, each individual tournament has a start and end date, so to qualify for the prizes, you will need to race between those specified dates. There can be only one competitor per household, and you may only compete under a single Zone alias. Any attempt by a player to compete under subsequent Zone aliases will result in disqualification. See the RC Tournament Rules for more details. Can I still race Tournament tracks on days when there are no scheduled Tournaments? Yes, you can. However, those races will be considered practice runs. |
