Renegade puts you on the ground as a GDI or Nod soldier where every player shares a team credit pool, and victory comes from either destroying all of the enemy's base structures or detonating a superweapon beacon on their pedestal.
Getting Started
Credits are earned automatically by your Harvester delivering Tiberium to the Refinery, so protect your Harvester and Refinery and spend at a Purchase Terminal to buy better characters like the free Engineer or paid units like Havoc, Sakura, Sydney, or Mobius.
Engineers and their advanced versions (GDI Hotwire, Nod Technician) carry a repair gun that both fixes damaged base structures and disarms enemy beacons, so keep one on your team ready to defend.
Winning Strategies
Sneak Engineers or Hotwires and Technicians into an undefended enemy building through its Master Control Terminals and plant timed C4, or destroy the Power Plant to disable the enemy's base defenses and slow their Refinery income.
Buy vehicles from the Weapons Factory (GDI) or Airstrip (Nod) such as the Medium Tank, Mammoth Tank, Light Tank, or Flame Tank and push as a group, since armor trades far better against structures and infantry than lone soldiers do.
