Driveway Road Rally: Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

What's the difference between Practice and Tournament races?
When playing Road Rally, you can choose to play either Practice or a Tournament race. Practice races are non-competitive races, where you're casually racing against the clock and trying to achieve a high score; your score will not be recorded. You do not need a Driveway.com name and password to play in Practice mode.

Tournament is where you race competitively for cash and prizes! To race in a tournament, you will need a Driveway.com name and password, as well as a Zone name and password. At the end of the round if you're happy with your score, enter your Zone name and password, and click Submit. This ranks and posts your score with the other racers and it also enters you into the Road Rally tournament.

What are the requirements to participate in a Road Rally Tournament?
Before you can participate in a Road Rally Tournament, to race for prizes, you need to:
  1. Have a Zone name and password
  2. Register and unlock the Road Rally tournament track from Driveway.com.
What is Driveway.com?
Driveway.com is a free online file storage site. Driveway lets you store multiple files, favorite links, e-mail messages and much more from any web connected computer. It's an excellent way to share photos, MP3s, and more with family and friends.

Why do I have to sign-up for Driveway.com to play Road Rally on the Zone?
For Practice races, you do not need a Driveway.com or a Zone name and password. However, for Tournament races, you will need to sign up for a FREE Driveway.com name and password which allows you to unlock the Tournament track you'll need to race competitively for prizes. Also as Road Rally releases new game updates, Driveway.com is the place to go to download and install them.

No. Once you have a Driveway.com name and password, you will not be prompted to register again when you click Tournament. However, as we release new game updates such as new vehicles and tracks, you will be prompted to go back to the Driveway.com to unlock them.

Why are some vehicles and tracks not listed?
In the course of the Road Rally tournament, we will be gradually releasing new cars and tracks. So keep your eyes peeled for those exciting game updates. Remember, you will need to unlock these updates from Driveway.com. See the Road Rally tournament schedule for game updates.

I forgot my Driveway.com password. What do I do?
Go to / and click Forgot your password or signup for a new Driveway.com name and password.

Why do I have to register my score?
At the end of the tournament round, if you're happy with your score, enter your Zone name and password, and click Submit. This ranks and posts your score with the other racers and it also enters you into the Road Rally tournament.

I've just submitted my score and don't see my name or score posted on the Ratings page. Why?
When you submit your score, it's not immediately posted on the Road Rally ratings page. This page is updated daily and it takes time for your rating to be posted, so check back frequently.

How many times can I play Tournament races?
You can race as many times as you want and we will record your overall best score. Remember, each individual tournament has a start and end date, so to qualify for the prizes, you will need to race between those specified dates.

There can be only one competitor per household, and you may only compete under a single Zone alias. Any attempt by a player to compete under subsequent Zone aliases will result in disqualification.

Can I still race Tournament tracks on days when there are no scheduled Tournaments?
Yes, you can. However, those races will be considered practice runs.
