The dictionary included with Hasbro Interactive
Scrabble
is Merriam-Webster's Official Scrabble Players Dictionary, 3rd Edition
, and it lists some pretty amazing words. The most interesting, because they can help you score big points, are the words that have a Q but no U in their spelling. You can check these words in the game by using the Word Lister feature and clicking the box Q Without U words. Strangely, that list includes a lot of gibberish at the beginning of the list and it also includes words that have a U in them, just not following the Q.
The list below defines all 12 words (and their plurals) acceptable to the CD-ROM version of Scrabble
that include a Q but no U in their spelling. Whether they're acceptable to your opponents is another matter entirely.
