Download Game Upgrade Version 1.0.2
The Star Trek: Next Generation Birth of the Federation upgrade, version 1.0.2, released in July 1999, improves the reliability of loading saved multiplayer games, and contains other enhancements. The upgrade is for the US and UK versions, an upgrade is not yet available for the German version.

- There are two options: a version without DirectX 6.1 and DirectPlay 6.1a (4.3 MB; approx. 28 mins. @28.8Kbps), and a version that contains both DirectX6.1 and DirectPlay 6.1a (13.9 MB; approx. 92 mins. @28.8Kbps).
- Choose the version appropriate for your computer and download. Double-click the file to begin installation.
- Follow the instructions within the installer.
- Come back to the Zone and have fun!
