Empire Earth pits you against rivals across 14 epochs from the Prehistoric Age to the Nano Age, where out-teching your enemy by advancing epochs faster is as decisive as winning any single battle.
Getting Started
Set your first Citizens gathering food and wood immediately, since those two resources drive Citizen production and early epoch advancement; add gold, stone, and iron only as later units and buildings demand them. Keep training Citizens continuously from your Capitol so your economy never stalls.
You advance an epoch by paying its resource cost at the Capitol, but each epoch also requires you to have built the prerequisite structures first, so keep expanding your base rather than hoarding resources for an advance you cannot yet trigger.
Winning Strategies
Garrison up to five units inside a Town Center to gain its productivity and morale bonuses, and station a Warrior hero with your army since every point of morale reduces the damage those units take by roughly 10 percent. A morale-boosted force will beat an equal-sized enemy that has no hero.
Build Priests at the Temple to convert enemy units to your side, and keep a couple of your own Priests near your front line so you can convert any of your troops that the enemy's Priests steal right back. Priests also heal, making them strong support behind a melee push.
