Microsoft Simulation Products Rack up Awards!
Over the last year Microsoft Flight Simulator and Combat Flight Simulator 2: World War II Pacific Theater have notched several awards from notable gaming and simulation Web pages.
AVSIM--a leading flight simulation Web site and noted clearinghouse for simulation-related software and Internet resources?led off, honoring CFS2 with a Gold Medal for Excellence in Flightsim Design. You can read about the award and find links to AVSIM's announcement and their review of CFS2 here.
In November GameSpy, the popular Web site for game playing, downloads, and reviews, added Flight Simulator to its Hall of Fame. Read about that award--which salutes over 20 years of proud achievement--here.
Finally, Dogfighter.Com recently named Combat Flight Simulator 2 the “Best Prop Sim for 2000.” The competition was tough, pitting the popular Pacific theater simulation against several strong competitors.
